We conventionally classify web sites by their volume, intensity of
graphics and functionality. This classification helps us better understand
the task, plan our work and calculate the price. First of all, we
distinguish the following classes of web sites by their graphical
(art) design:
Class
A1: Informational. Personal, educational and other simple
web sites with minimal graphics.
Class A2: Presentation. Commercial web sites with
more "promotional" look, better graphics. You may want
us to add professional illustrations or photos, which are licensed
separately.
Class A3: E-zine. Online magazines or other sites
with highly dynamic content and complex site structure.
Class A4: Deluxe. Corporate web sites with ideal
art design and custom photography.
Prices
for this part of work may vary depending on the class and the number
of page templates we create. An A1 site with no more than 10 pages,
for example, may cost from $200 to $500.
Besides the "look and feel", your web site may have some
functionality and interaction.
Class
F1: Plain pages, no functionality.
Class F2: Standard set of server-side features
with no or little customization, such as site search, automatic
newsletter subscription and distribution, feedback and support forms,
also automatic page generation for example, you have a big number
of plain-text articles and you want them to be formatted and displayed
on the fly).
Class F3: Online stores or other sites with basic
database programming.
Class F4: Custom web applications, such like email
front-ends, job banks, as wellas big online stores and other interactive
sites with rich functionality, not limited to database programming.
